Smoked Salmon Pinwheels

Looking for that perfect addition to your brunch plate? Well, look no further than these smoked salmon pinwheels. Whether it's breakfast in bed, hosting a brunch, or going to a friend's house, these bite-sized versions of a brunch classic are sure to please everyone! They are simple and quick to make with just a few ingredients, so I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package puff pastry

  • 4 oz cream cheese

  • 6 oz smoked salmon

  • Everything Bagel Seasoning, optional

Optional additions: red onion, capers

Directions:

  1. Thaw your puff pastry in the fridge overnight.

  2. Preheat oven to temperature on the puff pastry package, mine was 425 degrees.

  3. Unroll puff pastry onto parchment paper.

  4. Gently roll out into a rectangle if it is not already

  5. Spread cream cheese over the puff pasty all the way to the edges.

  6. Add the smoked salmon in a single layer.

  7. If you are adding capers or onions add those.

  8. Starting along the long edge, tightly roll the puff pastry.

  9. Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up.

  10. Remove from fridge and using a sharp knife (this is very important or they will lose their shape!) slice the log into desired thickness. I did about 1/2".

  11. Place pinwheel side up on a parchment lined baking sheet.

  12. Sprinkle with Everything Bagel seasoning.

  13. Bake according to the puff pastry directions, mine baked for 20 min.

Alternatively, you could bake in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
