Berries and Cream Puff Pastry Bites

No fluff, I'll just get straight to it, because these puff pastry bites are so simple and so delicious and who really wants to read a long blog post about it! Check out below:

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, cut into 12 squares

  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temp

  • zest of 1 lemon

  • juice of 1/2 lemon

  • Sugar/honey to taste

  • Fresh or frozen berries of your choice


Directions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, lemon zest, and juice. Mix until well combined. Add in sweetener of your choice until desired sweetness is reached

  2. Arrange the 12 puff pastry sheets in a silicone muffin tin

  3. Place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the center of the puff pastry

  4. Top with berries

  5. Bake according to the puff pastry box instructions

  6. If no instructions, bake on 400* for 15-20 minutes or until browned and cooked through
